Shamis Pitts is the Founder and CEO of Pitts Leadership Consulting LLC (“PLC”), a company specializing in organizational health and employee wellbeing since 2019. PLC helps organizations create work environments that enable employees to do their best work. That purpose comes to life through leadership and organizational development, employee engagement and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging-related services. PLC evaluates strategy and co-create action plans to align people, purpose, process, outcomes and success metrics via advising, consulting, training and facilitation, and executive and leadership coaching.

Shamis Pitts has operated at the intersection of strategy, people management and leadership, and operations for 25+ years within various industries. She is an ICF-Certified Professional Coach, a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, and holds other DEI and coaching-specific certifications. Shamis received her MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, concentrating in leadership and strategy, and her BA in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Shamis is a National Career Development Association-Career Convergence, The Executive Leadership Council-Institute for Leadership Development and Research, Thrive Global and HR Jolt Magazine contributor. She’s been featured in Authority Magazine and Employee Benefit News and is a Featured Expert in the Growth Leadership course within The Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell online certification.
