No advance for women in top U.S. jobs

Women in 2008 made no significant gains in winning more top US business jobs. The number of women board directors, corporate officers or top earners at Fortune 500 companies remained essentially unchanged from 2007. Just over 15% of Fortune 500 companies have women on board directors and the percentage of top earners who were female was just over 6% on 2008.
