There is certainly great hope that the Obama Adminstration will deliver positive progress for women. One of the biggest issues right now is that many of the fiscal stimulus packages being released by governments around the world are clearly focusing on construction, infrastructure and capital works (i.e more male-dominated industries) but the question will be whether support is needed for areas like healthcare and retail where more women are employed.
