To mentor women to identify and address barriers to their personal development and
discover their talents and gifts
To coach women how to turn their known talent into a product, business or enterprise,
thereby helping her to become a contributor to the economy.

| About: | BAPS is observing International Women’s Day 2010 with a month-long initiative, culminating on the weekend of 10-11 April with an inspirational conference entitled ‘Celebrating Women: Past, Present & Future’. This unique conference will, through a showcase of various cultural exhibitions including dance and music, reveal how Hinduism has empowered women in the past, and that faith and values are not obstacles to success, but means to obtaining it. Additionally, seminars conducted by external speakers on topics including financial and legal matters, education and career and achieving successful relationships across generations will give practical advice about how women can achieve excellence. The programme will celebrate the past achievements of Hindu women, reveal the successes of current outstanding female achievers, and inspire and motivate women towards leading successful lives in the future.
