AusIMM International Women's Day Lunch | Australian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy
When: March 8 2019
Where: Perth, Australia
We are pleased to invite you to participate in a series of luncheons to celebrate International Women’s Day in 2019.
Travelling to Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, the luncheons will feature a key note address from guest speaker, Jade Collins from Femeconomy and a panel discussion from industry champions on the through-provoking question: ‘How will the resources sector achieve greater gender balance?’
This year’s theme “balance for better” calls on all resources professionals to be striving for change and create a sector that reflects the profound diversity of the Australian people, harnessing their skills and encouraging innovation. With a professional workforce that is mobile, sometimes remote, but with abundant opportunities for women, the resources sector needs to work on providing the balance needed for women to bring their skills and contribute to the exciting future of mining.
As we work towards #BalanceforBetter we hope you will join us for what will be a series of empowering and compelling events that celebrates the women of the resources sector and their critical contribution on IWD 2019.
