Founder of The Lady Alliance
Kieren loves to dream of the ridiculous and make it a reality. Whether it’s cycling across Canada or converting a school bus into a full-time home, there is nothing Kieren enjoys more than testing the limits and learning more about herself! Yet she still has hesitations and self-doubt. Kieren wanted to create a place where everyone could learn and grow together, demolishing self-doubt while building a community. Through The Lady Alliance Kieren has found a love for life through adventure.
Founder of Oaks Mental Health
Cara Taylor is the founder of Oaks Mental Health. She is a therapist and mental health educator based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She has worked in diverse mental health contexts as a social worker including mobile crisis response and inpatient psychiatry. Beyond professional credentials, Cara has lived experience of mental illness and suicide loss. Her personal and professional mental health experiences have shaped the education she has provided to over 1000 people across the prairies.
Sr. Disability & Wellness Specialist, The Mosaic Company
Shanna Ramm is the Senior Disability and Wellness Specialist for The Mosaic Company. She has played a lead role in the implementation of the Psychological Wellness Program for Mosaic, work which started in Saskatchewan and is now being implemented in operations across the United States. Shanna emphasizes the importance of collaboration across all parts of the business when delivering a Psychological Wellness program, the most important of which is the partnership between Human Resources and Safety.
Cultural Bridging Facilitator
As a cultural bridging facilitator and university lecturer, Anita is a curious person on a quest for love and knowledge. Caught in between cultures since childhood and most of her adult life, she quickly learned to see things from multiple perspectives. Living for over 25 years in Istanbul, Turkey, she experienced rapid social change firsthand through the effects of globalization, so she knows what brings Newcomers to Canada.
Cultural Bridging Facilitator
Michael Afenfia is a Cultural Bridging Facilitator based in Saskatchewan, SK. His academic background is in Law and Business Administration. Before relocating to Canada in the summer of 2019, he worked as a Speechwriter to the Governor of his home state, Bayelsa in Nigeria. Michael has also worked in Banking, Real Estate and Communications, and is the author of four critically acclaimed novels.
