Around the world, many exciting and important awards are run to support International Women's Day. These awards aim to celebrate women's
achievements and increase visibility.

City Council's International Womens Day 2018 Woman of the Year Award recognises the outstanding achievement of women
within the local community through voluntary or paid work.
- The Women of Influence Awards recognise local women who have made
a positive social difference in the community and celebrate women in Grande Prairie who have demonstrated innovative and inspiring approaches
to leadership, volunteerism or community involvement.
- Inspirational Women of Yarra Award
celebrates and acknowledges the important contribution women make to the city and honours women in Yarra who inspire others through their paid and

Harbour International Women's Day Woman of the Year Award 2018 promote the positive contribution of women to the community
