Nancy Altobello
EY Global Vice Chair, Talent

"When it comes to the topic of gender parity, there's a lot of talk and a lot of action, but not all of it is effective for such a complex issue. In recognition of International Women’s Day, I challenge organizations to prioritize building a pipeline of female talent at all levels. It's important to build a supportive network and provide development opportunities for women as they advance in their careers. As the global vice chair of talent at EY, I'm proud of the progress we have made in getting women into key leadership roles, but there's more work to be done.

"The business case is really quite simple: We need to build a well-worn path for female leaders to tread upon, not only today but for future generations. It's about establishing role models and mentors for younger women in the workforce and setting them up for success. This is essential for our profession to continue attracting the highest-performing, most innovative and diverse talent - male and female.

"I urge you to make your Pledge For Parity today and take another step closer to achieving gender parity in the workplace. We are all on this journey together, and together we can build a better working world."
