"So, in honor of International Women's Day 2016 I propose we double down on this connection between women's athletic experience and leadership in business. That we invest in female athletes, a pipeline of people possessing the attributes required for business success: discipline, preparation, perseverance, resilience, teamwork, being open to coaching, playing by the rules.

"Let's recruit these athletes into our organizations. Let's look to those women already within our ranks uniquely equipped to lead and give them the experiences they need to propel us forward. We will all benefit."
