Embedded 2020 women artists exhibition
When: February 29 2020
Where: Perth, Australia
Embedded 2020 is a national exhibition of very contemporary quilts by women artists. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2020 and of all women, this bold initiative presents nine personal interpretations of the domestic quilt. The nine artworks are not traditional or conventional quilts. The artists unpick and re-stitch the quilt’s meaning to reveal their personal stories and politics about the bed and what embeds them in it. A unique show not to be missed!
