...then come and join us at Bury St Edmunds Constituency Labour Party's International Women’s Day event.

The theme for IWD 2020 is ‘an equal world is an enabled world’ . This unique event will be a packed day of exploring equality issues of concern with other women. A chance to network, browse stalls and attend workshops run by local women who are already actively involved in making a difference, covering issues such as:

• domestic abuse, addiction;
• women, children and the courts
• women, menopause and the workplace;
• women in politics;
• women and climate change....and so, so much more.

Bury St Edmunds Constituency Labour Party is are very pleased to welcome Megan Dobney, former SERTUC Regional Secretary, who will speak at this event and Pam Johnson, a West Yorkshire based acoustic singer from the band Mocking Birds.

With a fun 'Strike the IWD 2020 Pose' selfie photo booth, refreshments throughout the day and a light vegan hot lunch available, this really is an event not to be missed.
