The IQA Queensland Branch invites you to the inaugural Women In Quarrying (WIQ) International Women's Day breakfast.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements, support others, network and inspire women across the quarrying, extractive and associated industries.
This special breakfast will feature a presentation from the truly authentic and engaging keynote speaker, Wendy Evans.
Wendy's presentation will align with the 2021 International Women’s Day theme of #ChooseToChallenge, in the context of WIQ and the extractive and associated industries.
In true Wendy style, she will inspire attendees to consider how we can choose to challenge gender stereotypes, celebrate women’s achievements and collectively create an inclusive world.

About the Speaker:
Wendy Evans is Founder & Director of Evans Planning Law
Wendy is a planner, lawyer, expert court witness, policy advisor and litigator. She is a former practicing town planner with over 20 years of experience in the planning and development industry. She is a fellow member, the immediate past Queensland President, and current national board member of the Planning Institute of Australia.
This event is an IQA Women in Quarrying initiative to promote networking among members of the quarrying industry and encourages and creates opportunities for personal and professional development.
