Friends of Ibba Girls’ School (FIGS) wish to invite you and your friends to our free online event to celebrate International Women’s Day. This year’s theme is Choose to Challenge.

We will be discussing career choices ahead for Ibba Girls’ School students in South Sudan. South Sudan has been named as the hardest country in the world for girls to get an education, so it is important to celebrate the achievements of women to help inspire the next generation who are working incredibly hard to change their lives and give them better opportunities through education, funded by supporters like you.

When?

Saturday 6th March, 10.30am – 12noon.
Hosted via Zoom.

What to expect?

We will hear about the careers of some wonderful women based at Ibba Girls’ Boarding School (IGBS) and in the South Sudanese diaspora in the UK.

We are also pleased that some of the girls at IGBS have been able to send us videos, which we would love to share with you about their career aspirations.

Finally, there will be time for Q&A and further discussion.
