Day One of the IFECASA IWD Women in Service Retreat sets the foundation for the week, centring on women’s health, wellbeing, connection, and empowerment. Participants are welcomed into a safe and supportive space to prioritise personal wellbeing while engaging in meaningful professional development.

The morning begins with registration and delegate check-in, followed by the distribution of official conference kits. CPD sessions then explore essential but often under-addressed topics affecting women in high-demand service roles, including skin health, stress management, and gynaecological wellbeing across the service lifecycle.

In the afternoon, attention shifts to women in investigative and tactical roles, combining legal insight with practical personal safety and situational awareness training—equipping participants with knowledge that strengthens both confidence and operational readiness.

The day concludes with the signature Sista Circle—a relaxed and uplifting evening experience featuring welcome reflections, shared dinner, creative expression through Sip & Paint, and “Meet My Sista” presentations that celebrate sisterhood, diversity, and regional connection.

Day One embodies the IWD 2026 theme “Give to Gain”, reminding women in service that investing in their own wellbeing, voice, and community is essential to sustained leadership and resilience.
