As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, ANA Group proudly champions this year’s theme, Give To Gain.

Guided by our philosophy of "Uniting the World in Wonder," we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where every individual can thrive.

For us, the essence of "Give to Gain" lies in empowering others through shared wisdom to build a gender-equal world.

At All Nippon Airways (ANA), the core of our group, women represent approximately 63% of our workforce. Despite this strong representation, we have historically faced deep-rooted societal biases in technical roles—such as flight operations and engineering—stemming from the stereotype that STEM fields are "for men." To dismantle these barriers, we have proactively inspired and recruited the next generation of women in STEM. We have also systematically overhauled HR policies, enhanced skill development, and cultivated supportive environments to ensure long-term career growth. These efforts have resonated across society, leading to a 60% increase in female employees in technical fields compared to 2019. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our commitment to the IATA "25by2025" initiative.

Our primary way of "Giving" to the global community is by transparently sharing these proven strategies.

We are committed to offering our practical frameworks to help other organizations overcome systemic barriers and accelerate their own progress toward gender parity. However, true gender equality is forged through synergy and collective action.

Eradicating deep-rooted biases requires a transformation of society at large. Therefore, ANA Group actively invites partnerships with diverse stakeholders to challenge stereotypes and champion a healthier work-life balance for all. Together, we are co-creating environments where employees with various life constraints can fully realize their potential, while fostering a culture that encourages people of all genders to share household responsibilities. The ultimate "Gain" from this synergy is an equitable society that promotes holistic well-being.

We pledge to continue sharing our expertise and taking collaborative action to forge a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone.
