Board Member I Work Psychologist I Founder of TSHOLETSANANG Afrik initiative, wellbeing activist and career mentor

Ashley is a work psychologist in independent practice trained in industrial-organisational psychology and career coaching, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (Registration number: PS0130826). She is also an approved Career Development Practitioner with the South African Career Development Association. Ashley is a Board Member of the Johannesburg Bible College. She is also a Golden Key recipient with a Masters degree, having presented her research on the work-related stress and wellbeing of paramedics working in violent contexts

She is the founder of TSHOLETSANANG Afrik offering her skills and time to offer professional and probono afrocentric humanitarian psychology services in the form of psychosocial wellbeing education, awareness, workplace counselling, mental health referral support & career mentoring to Africans in under-resourced community groups. Her services include: graduate development, bursary recipient mentoring, career development psychometric assessments, career coaching, early career support (job application, competency-based assessment prep, interview prep), bursary and  compiling nano resumes for domestic workers, tutoring Afrikaans, developing learning programmes and assessments, curriculum review and assessment moderation (higher education) and advising organisations, as a GBV survivor and workplace justice activist, she also offers work-related counselling at any stage of a person's career.

As a consultant: Ashley engages as a speaker, activist, skills development facilitator and blog writer. She is passionate about women's wellbeing, youth inclusion, humane workplaces and whole person development of all people. She has experience working in higher education and the private sector consulting with corporate organisations and government entities. Ashley also facilitates emotional intelligence, resilience and personal leadership workshops online and in person.

Her professional affiliations are with SIOPSA (Society for Industrial Organisational Psychology in South Africa), and the Thabo Mbeki African School of International & Public Affairs (student).
