Lauren Currie OBE is a compelling speaker who inspires audiences the world over to make positive change. She is an internationally recognised authority on design and innovation – and how they can be harnessed for social good.

Lauren is the founder of UPFRONT, a start-up borne from her experience of often being the only woman speaker at conferences, and also a commitment to helping others build their confidence through workshops, coaching and consulting.

She is chairperson of leading maternity discrimination Pregnant Then Screwed.

Having completed pioneering postgraduate studies in service design, Lauren went on to co-found Snook – one of the UK’s leading service design agencies, was named by Elle Magazine as one of the 30 women under 30 changing the world, and was recognised by Management Today as one of the UK’s top 35 business women under 35.

​Previously, Lauren was the Managing Director NOBL, a global change agency who help world famous organisations design their culture.

In 2017 Lauren was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her services to design and diversity.
