Dr Rachel Ellison MBE

Former BBC broadcaster, now Executive Leadership Coach working internationally & inter-culturally with leaders worldwide

Dr Rachel Ellison MBE is a former BBC news reporter, now Executive Leadership Coach. She works with C-suite leaders in more than 40 different countries, cultures and organisational systems.

She was awarded an MBE 'for the promotion of human rights and the self-empowerment of women in Afghanistan'. Her team was named BBC Team of the Year.

From banking to retail, elite high performance sport to prisons, the NHS and international NGOs, Rachel specializes in helping leaders navigate fast moving, changing and unpredictable environments with integrity and confidence. E.g. Afghanistan, China, Indonesia, Somalia, Syria, the DRC, Honduras, Myanmar and the UK. Rachel is currently coaching women leaders preparing teams for the Winter Olympics in Beijing 2022.

Volunteering:

Rachel coached NHS staff of any level, working on Covid wards during the Pandemic of 2020.

She is a 'return-to-work coach' for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Rachel launched a neighborhood Food Bank hub supplying fresh fruit & vegetables, children's books, footballs, homework materials and clothing to vulnerable individuals and families.

Her 2022 Hot Water Bottle campaign attempts to offer warmth and comfort to those who cannot afford heating as a result of poverty and/or the energy/cost of living crisis. It was described as ‘the single most effective intervention this Winter - our children are so excited to have a warm bed to sleep in’.
