Internationally accredited executive leadership coach with career in FTSE 100 Global companies

Yetunde’s entire life has been characterised by professional and personal change. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria,she studied in Nigeria and the UK, completed her National Service back in Nigeria and returned to the UK after a brief period working for an international not-for profit organisation to embark on a successful global career in HR.

Yetunde has built a successful, fast-paced career in FTSE 100 Global companies – Allied Domecq, Unilever, Imperial Brands. Her last in-company role was as Global HR Director for the commercial division of a FTSE 25 business driving growth across 165 countries and one of only 5 women in the top 100 in the entire business and the only black leader in senior management.

She is an internationally accredited executive leadership coach, a classically trained pianist, a Chartered Companion of the  Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).

She is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Reading’s Henley Business School and has been named as one of the top 100 women to watch by the Cranfield Female FTSE Board report. In 2020 she won recognition for Women's Empowerment by Dress For Success Greater London and in 2021 was named as one of HR's Most Influential Thinkers.

She is a Non-Executive Director at Treatt Plc where she also Chairs the Remuneration Committee and sits on the Nomination Committee. Treatt Plc is a  global ingredients manufacturer with sites in the UK, USA and China.

She stepped out of the Corporate World and established a successful leadership and change consultancy – Synchrony Development Consulting - that coaches leaders to be effective, leadership teams to be functional, and runs group wide leadership programmes and culture change interventions for companies looking to unlock the collective potential of their people, management and leadership.

In addition, she established The Enjoyable Life Series – an organisation designed to have men and women at all levels in business, education and community to identify practical ways in which they can live more enjoyably in all of what they do. It focuses on Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing from a first person’s perspective.

The tenets of her work and life are Love, Leadership and Results. A fundamental belief that the combination of an unconditional acceptance of self and others with the core attributes of Leadership, can produce the most extraordinary of results. Her book Beyond Engagement – The Value of Love based Leadership can be found in all leading bookstores.

In addition to a successful portfolio career Yetunde is a Speaker at both public and in-company executive leadership events and conferences and can bring her topics – Change,
Love, Leadership, Results, Purpose, Inclusion and Life - to her audience in an engaging way.

A TEDx Speaker, she was awarded a prize for the highest rated external speaker by the Henley Partnership of the Henley Business School.
