Dr. Etleva Paplekaj

Doctor of Law Science, researcher, mentor & civil society activist

Dr. Etleva Paplekaj is an Albanian native, currently working and living in Baghdad.

She is Doctor of Law Sciences, graduated at University of Prishtina ‘Hasan Proshtina’ in 2021, and during her PhD studies did her research work in Harvard and Princeton law Library. Her scientific articles are published in different prestigious law and humanistic indexed journals

She is an exceptionally motivated and enthusiastic communications professional, with several years of experience in communications and public relations.

Dr. Etleva Paplekaj has worked over 10 years in the public sector as civil servant and is a vivid expert in urban planning as well as in strategic coordination and development.

She has worked with humanitarian international organization giving hope where there was not in different orphanages in Albania. In addition she has worked with World Vision Albania cooperating and managing project in empowering civil society organizations and promoting youth participation in human rights involvement.

Currently Dr. Etleva is General Coordinator at Mercy Hands organization, based in Baghdad, Iraq. With her team she is supporting the organization through the process of transition from emergency to development, managing programs, building rapports with Mercy Hands current donors.
