Communication and leadership expert Elizabeth Ruiz is an award-winning speaker and business strategist who helps people, teams, and organizations find out what they are truly capable of becoming.

She motivates, empowers, and inspires. Her high-energy presentations provide knowledge transfer, skills development, and collaborative learning opportunities.

Her thirty years of business experience plus ten years of academic research is what makes Elizabeth a scholar-practitioner. She is the author of 17 books in various fields including marketing, communication, and leadership.

She has created and facilitated presentations and workshops globally online and in-person from her books including How to Create Buzz using Behavioral Economics, How to Implement Strategic Communication for Long-term Success, and How to Expand Your Leadership Skill Set and Stand Out.

Elizabeth is in the process of earning her Ph.D. at Concordia University Chicago in Organizational Leadership. She holds two master’s degrees, an MBA from the University of Texas Permian Basin, and a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Columbia University in the City of New York.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Communication Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown.

Elizabeth spends time helping people and animals in need through multiple volunteer leadership positions with Toastmasters International, animal organizations, and a variety of professional and academic organizations earning her several volunteer leadership awards for her service. Although she travels globally for business, she currently resides in Texas with her family including her pack of rescue animals.
