Aarti Samani has spent her career building, scaling, and leading through uncertainty, from investment banking to the front line of artificial intelligence.

She has led two AI companies through successful acquisitions (SwiftKey to Microsoft; Digital Surgery to Medtronic), scaled face biometric company iProov to category leadership, as Chief Product and Marketing Officer, and now runs Shreem Growth Partners, advising organisations on defending against AI-enabled fraud.

As a regular BBC and CNBC commentator on deepfake threats and AI safety, Aarti brings rare credibility to one of the most urgent challenges facing businesses today. She teaches executive education at MIT, INSEAD, and Durham Business School, translating complex AI risks into practical action for senior leaders.

But Aarti's story goes beyond the boardroom. She is a survivor of stage 4 ovarian cancer and speaks openly about what it takes to lead when the ground shifts beneath you.

As an "only" around executive tables for much of her career, she brings hard-won perspective on building authority, navigating male-dominated industries, and creating space for others to follow.

An alumna of Durham University, Aarti holds an honours degree in Mathematics.
