Susie Youssef is a comedian, actor, writer, and improviser who has written, performed, and produced comedy for stage, radio, and television in Australia and internationally — and yes, her skin is excellent.
She currently narrates Airport 24/7 for Network Ten. A regular co-host and correspondent on The Project for six years, Susie also co-hosted The Australian of the Year and Making It Australia. She was a core cast member on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Australia and had recurring roles in Rosehaven, Squinters, and No Activity. Her many guest appearances include Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee, Thank God You’re Here, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Drunk History, Get Krack!n, How Not To Behave, The Chaser’s Media Circus, and The Checkout.
In 2023, Susie starred in the award-winning Amazon series Deadloch, filmed The Office Australia, and battled it out at the Sydney Opera House in Slide Night!.
Susie honed her comedy at the Sydney Comedy Store and Giant Dwarf Theatre and performed at Splendour in the Grass, Secret Garden Festival, and internationally at Improvaganza (Edmonton), Dad’s Garage (Atlanta), and The Del Close Marathon (New York). She studied improv at iO Theatre in Chicago.
Her solo sketch show Sketchual Chocolate debuted in 2014 after a sold-out Sydney Fringe run. She returned with Owl Eyes On You, Check Youssef Before You Wreck Youssef (Edinburgh & London), and Behave Youssef.
In 2018, Susie debuted with the Sydney Theatre Company in An Accidental Death Of An Anarchist, and co-created The Smallest Hour with Phil Spencer (Griffin Theatre). She starred in Home, I’m Darling (MTC), The Appleton Ladies’ Potato Race (STCSA), The Tempest (STC), and most recently Housework by Emily Steel (STCSA).
