Book IWD Speaker: Mary Bradley
Stress Management Expert empowering women & organisations to manage pressure, prevent burnout & thrive at work & beyond
Mary Bradley is a Stress Management Expert, keynote speaker and former secondary school teacher specialising in the psychology of stress and high performance under pressure.
With a background in education, Mary went on to study an MSc Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing, Mary combines psychology with practical tools to help women understand their stress response and manage it effectively, not by eliminating stress but by mastering it.
Mary works with organisations, schools and leadership groups to address a growing reality: modern women are thriving on the outside while carrying invisible pressure internally. Expected to perform, lead, nurture and hold everything together, many are operating in prolonged survival mode, impacting confidence, clarity, creativity and decision-making.
Her approach is direct, evidence-based and refreshingly honest. Mary does not promise a stress-free life. Instead, she teaches the ABCs of Stress, practical, research-backed strategies that enable women to stay powerful and effective when pressure is high, while also knowing how to switch off, restore and enjoy life beyond performance.
When stress is unmanaged, the brain’s higher-order thinking functions partially go offline leading to reactivity, overwhelm, procrastination, self-doubt and guilt. Mary equips audiences with the tools to interrupt that cycle, regulate their nervous system and lead from clarity rather than survival.
Mary has delivered keynotes and workshops for organisations including Donegal Women in Business, The Shona Project’s ‘Shine’ Festival (speaking to over 1,000 young women), Care4Carers and Mind Over Marks. She has also appeared on Ireland AM, national radio and podcasts including Caroline Foran’s Owning It.
For International Women’s Day, Mary delivers a powerful message for women who are holding it all together externally while carrying the weight internally- offering practical tools, psychological insight and a new standard for sustainable success.
