Applied Psychology Scientist-Practitioner in Executive Leadership Development and Coaching helping STEM professionals rise to leadership roles

Angelis Iglesias MSc PCC is an Applied Psychology Scientist-Practitioner. Her passion is to help others find their voice, learn to communicate their accomplishments, and do the work they love.  She uses coaching science to develop professionals to positions of leadership in STEM industries, reach executive level roles, and lead with diversity, inclusion, and equity principles.

She facilitates the Google “#IamRemarkable” program about the importance of self-promotion for women and under-represented groups and the tools to develop this skill, the "50 Ways to Fight Bias in the workplace" workshop that highlights over 50 examples of bias against women offering research-backed recommendations for what to do and an explanation for why it’s happening. Her own "Lean in not hide your Intersectional Identity and Achieve your Aspirational Identity,” how to use all that you are to get what you want in life and work. Increase your value in the workplace, make yourself indispensable, and get the recognition you deserve.  

Angelis has a master’s in science (MSc) in Applied Psychology, a graduate certificate in Higher Education, Teaching of Psychology and Harvard graduate work in the Science of Coaching Psychology and Personality Psychology. Her professional coach certifications and training include Adult Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Highly Sensitive People (HSP), and Relationship Coaching.

Angelis provides free resources to scientists-practitioners all over the globe and is the co-author of The Coaching Science Practitioner Handbook 2020 and author of The Coaching Science Researcher Practitioner Planner 2021. She runs courses in social media, digital business tools, book writing for coaches and coaching business research-informed practices.

She consults on course development and professional conferences for International Coaching Federation (ICF), Talent Development Association (ATD), and Society of Human Resources Management Association (SHRM).  

Angelis is an advocate for equity, so the needs of all men, women and children count. She is the founder of the STEMinists Circle and the Lean In ATX Network. She is a Regional Leader for the Lean In’s global community of over 45 thousand Circles in over 150 countries.

She is an active member of the Society of Consulting Psychologists (SCP) and multiple divisions of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Institute of Coaching, McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School (IOC).

Angelis is an Ordained Interfaith minister and cultural coach. She is masterful at integrating the tender and personal place where faith, culture, and day-to-day work meet. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has extensive experience working with women of various cultures, races, and faith perspectives.
