Genevieve LaCaze

Two times Olympic finalist and Australian record holder aiming for Tokyo 2020

Genevieve LaCaze is a two times Olympic finalist, and Australian record holder with Tokyo 2020 in her sights. This proud Australian inspires women to chase their dreams and keep pushing for their own personal best, whether on the track or in life.

Genevieve shows her fans that if you’re going to be good, you may as well look good doing it. At times, being a professional runner can be an ugly sport – endless hill reps, lung bursting track sessions – but Genevieve manages to do it all while making the life of an athlete look glamorous.

This in turn has provided Genevieve with a large following as an ambassador for the hardworking Australian woman. 2016 was a breakout year for Genevieve, making the Olympic finals in both the 5000m and the 3000m steeplechase, while breaking the Australian record in the latter event. This means that Genevieve is the fastest Australian in history.

That might be enough for some, but over the next Olympic cycle Genevieve is aiming to raise the bar even further by bringing home medals and inspiring women all over Australia.
