Award Winning connector, health educator, inspirer, business creative and PTSD Thriver

Lisa LaMaitre is an award winning Canberra business owner.

Alongside her husband, they have owned and operated four different businesses, in four different industries, over the last 25 years. The couple closed their third business in 2010 after it was targeted for crime.

Due to their experiences Lisa was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disoreder (PTSD) in 2012.

Lisa's professional background in the Health Industry and focus on holistic healing has supported her recovery from PTSD.

Lisa faced the sudden death of her sister in 2013, and then in 2016 the couple had to deal with infertility.

In 2015 Lisa launched their fourth business - Canberra Wise Women. Canberra Wise Women is a platform for sharing MORE positivity and inspiration, leveraging the connection of interviews at live events.

To date Canberra Wise Women have interviewed 58 inspiring Canberrans, hosted 24 live events and welcomed over 1000 guests.
