Karen Loftus is a comedian, speaker, playwright, journalist, and global photographer who has recently launched her own company (Women’s Adventure Travels) and will soon be launching her podcast (Say WAT WAT?!) and TV show.

Aside from her comedic tours, Karen was also an artist in residence at several universities, including Sewanee University of the South where she was awarded the first Tennessee Williams Fellowship. Karen also did Green Room Talks, talking to various theater departments and students across the country about how to take an entrepreneurial approach to their careers.

With her other talk, The Body Comedy Project, she discussed her non-profit program, Body Comedy, where she used humor to heal survivors of violence. Comedy Central sponsored her program for several years.

Karen’s journey was and continues to be a fearless one. Her newest talk, Walking Out Windows, has been experienced on campuses, at conferences, and at corporate events.

Walking Out Windows is a captivating and authentic show sure to inspire others to unabashedly pursue their dreams. Throughout the talk she sheds light on her creative career and the many twists and turns she has encountered on her journey.

Karen discusses being a feminist playwright and her almost famous moments working with the likes of Halle Berry, Demi Moore, Meg Ryan and Roseanne.

That along with her many Me Too moments back in LA, make this a contemporary talk that needs to be heard, especially on International Women's Day.
