Anna Flanagan

Olympic hockey player with sports journalism experience

Anna made her National Hockey debut in 2010 at just 18 for the Hockeyroos, before going on to represent Australia at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and taking home a Gold medal and again in 2014 she won another Commonwealth Gold.

She played in the 2012 Olympics, with the team finishing fifth overall. Flanagan was named the World Young Player of the Year in Field Hockey for 2013. Anna has a degree in sports journalism and has worked at Fox Sports, the Canberra Times, Channel Nine and Channel 10.

She currently is in the digital team at FOX Sports and splits her time between hosting hockey clinics and public speaking to businesses about the highs and lows of what it takes to get to the top, as well as how to get the best out of a team- from her own experiences.
