Claire is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Man Bites Dog, the most award-winning B2B marketing and public relations consultancy in Europe.

A born entrepreneur and innovator, Claire worked on her first business at 14, published a book at 25 and at 30 established Man Bites Dog as specialists in marketing communications for the knowledge economy. Claire is an active member of the entrepreneurial community and has been recognised as one of Management Today’s 35 Under 35 leading business women, listed as one of the UK’s most outstanding young entrepreneurs in Growing Business magazine’s Young Guns, and named one of the UK’s most influential communicators by PR Week. Her proudest achievement is the incredible team and culture of excellence she has created at Man Bites Dog, cemented by winning PR Week’s Best Place To Work for the past six years consecutively. In 2014 she was recognised as the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Female Marketing Leader of the Year.

With twenty years experience in B2B marketing communications, Claire is a leading expert in global business and technology branding, thought leadership, public relations and marketing. Claire is passionate about the power of big ideas to deliver remarkable commercial impact and is a regular media commentator on issues from innovation and entrepreneurship to B2B branding and the knowledge economy.

Claire specialises in the knowledge economy and has deep expertise in professional services and technology, turning complex and intangible products and services into Man Bites Dog stories – ideas that lead, and ultimately sell. Claire’s knowledge economy experience includes Allen & Overy, BP, Bupa, Capita, Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, Hay Group, KPMG, Linklaters, RSA, Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co),?What If!, Yell and the World Bank. Claire’s technology experience includes leading global and EMEA communications for Google, Microsoft and Adobe, as well as directing UK communications campaigns for BT, Cambridge University, Capgemini, Fujitsu, Lockheed Martin and O2.

As well as being Leader of the Pack, Claire is actively involved in strategy and ideation, as well as providing issues and crisis management consultancy. Prior to founding Man Bites Dog, Claire was a Director and head of the corporate team at The Red Consultancy and worked in corporate and technology teams at consultancies including Cohn & Wolfe.

Claire has an MA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University where she received the Coombes Prize for Literature, a research MA with distinction from York University and an advanced CIPR Diploma.
