Fylde Coast International Women's Day Festival Saturday 7th March 2020
The Washington Group, in partnership with Blackpool 6th Form, are holding the 2nd IWDFestival on the Fylde Coast.
We are addressing lack of self-belief and ambition, opportunity to flourish and access to positive local role models and positive mentors - with more than 350 young women expected to attend the Festival and participate from all Fylde Coast high schools and this year 6 Primary Schools.
We are supported by businesses and organstions to bring an Innovation Festival to the Fylde Coast.
5 fields, 50 workshops, 350 young women, entertainment and street food, 100 volunteers, 30 role models and over 30 businessess!
We are thrilled to have gained the support of Shelly Wood Paraolympian, Kelly Massey Team GB Olympic Champion; local Fylde Coast Woman and Pentathlon GB Medallist Dr Nic Robinson; Amy Cross, Blackpool mayor, Jill Gray of Blackpool 6th Form; Jane Cole of Blackpool Transport; Helen Broughton of Danbro; Kate Shane, Merlin Entertainment; Fylde Council; Wyre, Fylde, Blackpool and Lancashire Councils.

School Sponsor help support young women attend from the 25 High schools and 6 primary schools.
Workshop delivery Can you deliver 4 x 45min workshops to young women aged between 11 and 15years of age.
