We are proud to announce the return of Cinnawomen in collaboration with Low-Life Promotions, and with proceeds going to Leeds Women’s Aid.
Celebrating women in music and art in the north, the 7th March is another spicy holiday for the senses. A melting pot of soul, psych, blues, dream pop and rock, is brought to your ears from LADY, Katie Pham & The Moonbathers, Kashu and Freya Roy. With Headrow tranformed into a visual wonderland by artist Marie Collier.

// LADY //

A Leeds based 4-piece infusing jazz and folk with psychedelic rock for a truly unique musical experience that pays homage to the 70’s. Formed and led by Lady herself who’s emotional lead vocal draws inspiration from the likes of Jeff Buckley and Stevie Nicks. Having spent the past two years honing their craft Lady are finally revealing themselves and thriving on the Leeds & Liverpool circuits.

// Katie Pham & The Moonbathers //

Katie Pham & the Moonbathers make sweet, soulful pop music. Hailing from Sheffield via Manchester; Katie, along with her band mates Jackie, Oliver and Sam, tap into the zeitgeist of the 2010's to produce luscious, melancholy rhythms that elevate sleepy lyrics; touching on themes of heartache and listlessness.

// Kashu //

Kashu soothe and scintillate with their rich undulating sound, bringing sumptuous harmonies and grooving beats together in a melting pot of gospel, soul, blues, jazz and folk.
After many years of solo tinkering, songwriter Olivia Bhattacharjee's music comes alive as a brand new four-piece made up of Fred Harper on drums and percussion, Jess Mollie on vibraphone, Ali Phelps on Double Bass & Olivia on vocals and guitar. Olivia has seen recent success with Electronic-soul quartet Noya Rao, where she has honed her performance and writing experience over the last few years; leading towards this new project which shows heaps of potential and dynamism. Expect to be challenged and pleasantly surprised, while you are effortlessly caressed into grooving and singing along with their soothing sounds.

Kashu will be performing for one night only as stripped back duo. This is not to be missed.

// Freya Roy //

MOBOs and Help Musicians UK supported artist, Freya Roy combines neo-soul, R&B and hip-hop elements. A Jazz Composition and Production graduate from Leeds College of Music, 2019 sees the release of Freya’s crowdfunded debut album entitled ‘Ahlke’, which bridges the gap between jazz, soul and popular culture. This will be released by FCR Music, an independent label Freya founded in 2012. A platform she is using to inspire, empower and celebrate industry minorities.
