Joining us are two inspriational women who have broken glass ceilings and made their way to the top. Hear their journey and their tips on growing your business and be inspired as we explore the International Women's Day theme for this year #BalanceforBetter.

As always there will be opportunity to network with other local women in business and chat the The Women's Organisation's team to see what support is available to grow your enterprise.

Sue Grindrod

Sue Grindrod, Chief Executive Royal Albert Dock Liverpool

As Chief Executive of Royal Albert Dock Liverpool, Sue Grindrod is responsible for the strategic development and management of this iconic waterfront destination and is leading its next phase of evolution. Her most recent achievement was in June 2018, when Sue secured the prestigious Royal title for the Dock, granted by Her Majesty The Queen in recognition of the pivotal role the Dock continues to play in the fortunes of Liverpool.

Sue is voluntary Chair and Director of Liverpool Waterfront Business Partnership CIC, Deputy Chair of Liverpool Visitor Economy Network and a Director of Open Eye Gallery. A true shining light in Liverpool City Region's Culture and Tourism sector, Sue is a female leader we are keen to hear from at this event.

Marnie Millard OBE

Marnie is Group Chief Executive for Nichols PLC. She joined the company in 2012 and was appointed to her current role in May 2013.

Nichols plc is the home of Vimto, a soft drink which was established in 1908 and today has a retail brand value of £76m. The business operates internationally and turnover for the group is £130m.

Marnie is a non-executive Director for Finsbury Foods and is the Chair for the North West Region of the CBI. She is also a member of the Management Board for the BSDA.

Marnie was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for her services to International Trade and Businesses in North West England
