2020 BWIB International Womens Day - Anything is Possible!
When: March 6 2020
Where: Brisbane, Australia
Anything is possible - join Bayside Women in Business for its BWIB 2020 International Womens Day lunch.
This is an all women's event to celebrate women! Because when it comes to women in business, anything is possible. BWIB calls for women to join together to celebrate each other and what we can achieve.
BWIB has invited three amazing women who will share their journeys - Angie Lambert, Olympian & OAM; Becky Paroz, Author, Mentor & Speaker; and Joan Pease MP, Member for Lytton.
Debuting for Australia in 1998, Angie went on to become an Olympic Gold Medalist with the Hockeyroos. Then Angie was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her service to sport as a Gold Medalist at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Becky will discuss her start to life, the chronic illness that was diagnosed just as she started her career, and her 30 years in the tough, challenging, and male dominated world of construction. She is living proof that anything is possible and her story will inspire you to believe that this can be true for you.
Joan has lived in Wynnum for 30 years with her husband and has raised two children here. Joan's proud to be involved in many community groups from Nursing Mothers, to the Rugby Club. Joan's work has included providing training programmes for the long-term unemployed, and also running a small business in Wynnum. Joan has also spent 10 years in the Lytton electoral office fighting for the local community. Joan cares about health, education, and local families.
