ManchesterIWD #WalkForWomen Festival
When: March 7 2020
Where: Manchester, United Kingdom
Manchester’s annual flagship International Women's Day event the Walk For Women will take place on Saturday 7 March 2020.
Now in its third year, it wants to build on the goodwill and support of Manchester's women, and continue the celebration as people walk through the city to mark International Women's Day 2020.
The event is free and anyone can take part: you don't have to be a woman - just a supporter of women!
The meeting point, time and route will be announced very soon, but the final destination will be St Peter's Square, at the Emmeline Pankhurst statue.
The walk will then make its way to Walk For Women Festival held in the Central Library for a multilayered market place, music, performances and networking event with information on health, employment, education, and opportunities for Manchester women and girls, or just relax and catch up with friends.
