IWD2021 Panel Discussion #ChooseToChallenge

When: March 5 2021

Where: Canberra, Australia

Canberra business woman and Bookssorted Group CEO Christine Marr, supported by Specialists in Communications and QT Canberra, are asking you to join a discussion on how we can all chose to challenge to create a better world.

In conversation with a panel of female leaders, we will celebrate women across the country and learn from each other.

Your panel:

Pat Anderson is an Alyawarre woman known nationally and internationally as a powerful advocate for the health of Australia’s First Peoples. She has extensive experience in Aboriginal health, including community development, policy formation and research ethics.

Pat was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2014 for distinguished service to the Indigenous community as a social justice advocate. She is also our 2020 ACT Senior of the Year.

Christine Marr is a well-known business woman in Canberra, with her IT Contractor payroll service of 15 years continuously being named as one of Australia’s best. Christine was named Business Woman of the Year in the 2019 CWB Awards and is regularly sought-after to speak on business tenacity.

As a role model for business women, Christine openly discusses the challenges in balancing child-raising and business ownership, and also shares the strategies she employed to help her overcome the challenges.

She is highly sought after for event dressing and personal styling, and has worked with host of local and international personalities and celebrities as well as everyday professionals and mums who engage Rosie for style makeovers, wardrobe edits and personal shopping.
