Join WorkBC Nanaimo for the 2nd Annual Women in Leadership Panel Discussion!
Powerful local women leaders will come together to discuss this year's theme of #ChoosetoChallenge.
The challenges they have overcome, and the challenges that lay ahead will be shared. During the discussion, we will explore how we can support one another while we challenge the traditional notions of what it means to be a woman, and embrace a discussion of intersecting identities and the power of allyship.
The panel includes:
Aunalee Boyd-Good and Sophie Good-Seward, Owners of Ay-Lelum Fashions
Carla Smith, President of CMF Construction LTD
Nicole Utulinde, Vice-President of Nanaimo Pride
Sherri Mattice, Indigenous Education Navigator, Vancouver Island University
Shirin Younessian, Owner of Bees Knees Cafe
Moderated by Ashley Clarke, Youth Employment Outreach Coordinator for WorkBC Nanaimo.
