Zuri Awards was inaugurated 6 years ago and has had over 600 submissions, 125 Nominees, 52 Honorees, KES 20 Million raised, 10 Trade Linkages, and 15 Award Categories.
The platform recognizes, celebrates, and supports unsung exceptional women who are dedicated to creating positive change through work in their communities and are part of the International Women’s Day Celebrations.
The IWD 2022 theme is #BreakTheBias. Imagine a gender-equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality.
There will be numerous activities taking place to showcase the nominees from Call for Nomination which started on 30th November 2021 - 30th January 2022 followed by a Judging Process; Digital Storytelling; Networking Expo on the 26th - 27th February 2022 culminating to the Gala Awards Dinner on the 4th March 2022.

The Honorees will be announced during the 6th Edition of the Zuri Awards Gala Dinner Award taking place on the 4th March 2022 at Movenpick Hotel followed by Post Engagement with the nominees thereafter.
