IWD fundraises for female-focused charities
International Women's Day (IWD) provides the perfect opportunity to fundraise for female-focused charities, as well as helping to raise their visibilty and amplify their awareness raising efforts.
2020 saw IWD raise a hefty six-figure sum for charity. 100% of the proceeds went direct to charity.
"We're grateful for our long-standing partnership with International Women’s Day that provides us with significant funding to help girls achieve their fullest potential, driving change on important issues of gender equality, in their communities and the world.”
- Imogen Fitzpatrick, Head of Strategic Partnerships, WAGGGS
Help forge women's equality by donating to a registered charity or nonprofit that works for the advancement of women and girls. Donating to these groups means choosing to challenge inequality and supporting their important work. There are many commendable groups worldwide.

Charities invited to participate in IWD 2021 fundraising
For IWD 2021, we're on a mission to increase the number of charities and nonprofits benefitting from IWD fundraising worldwide.
To achieve this, registered female-focused charities and nonprofits are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for potential inclusion in the IWD 2021 Consortium of Charities that sees their important work showcased and their call for donations amplified.
