We have been working with women survivors of domestic abuse for 26 years.
In that time this problem has grown, and we have an ever-increasing demand for our free, specialist counselling and therapies.
In the last few years, the Covid pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis have impacted dramatically on a rise in women being trapped in abusive relationships.
Woman's Trust is proud to support International Women's Day and I #EmbraceEquity.
For me, equity would mean that access to specialist mental health counselling for survivors of domestic abuse would no longer be a postcode lottery.
It would be accessible to women wherever they lived.
