Securian Financial is proud to support International Women’s Day 2023 and this year’s #EmbraceEquity theme.
In collaboration with our Securian Women and Allies Network (SWAN) employee resource group, we are celebrating International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month all throughout March with a series of events focused on education, inclusivity and engagement.
We have a lot to celebrate at Securian Financial.
Since 2020, we’ve increased the percentage of women in senior management roles to 40%, and we’ve been able to maintain that number during the Great Resignation.
We have increased the number of women in our C-suite to 42%, more than 50% of our leaders of people are women and we have gender parity on our board of directors.
In 2022, for the first time, Securian Financial was named to Forbes’ list of “America’s Best Employers for Women,” and for the sixth consecutive year, we were again certified as a Fortune Great Place to Work®.
Beyond the stats and accolades, we continue to champion flexible workplace policies to attract and retain our talent, including a hybrid work environment.
